Toyota has announced the pricing and specification details for the new Auris Touring Sports, which is set to go on show at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Prices will start from £15,595 when the model goes on sale in the UK in the summer.

The Auris Touring Sports will be available in four levels of trim: Active, Icon, Sport and Excel. The basic Active model is available with a choice of 1.33-litre petrol and1.4-litre diesel engines and comes with 15-inch steel wheels, roof rails, air conditioning, CD player with USB connectivity, stability control, hill-start assist, seven airbags, follow-me-home headlights and a luggage net.

Moving up the range, Icon models are priced from £18,245. In addition to the engines offered on the Active, the Icon is also offered with a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.8-litre hybrid. Extra kit includes 16-inch alloys, front fog lights, DAB radio, rear reversing camera, double level boot floor and Toyota's touchscreen entertainment system with Bluetooth.

Sport models are priced from £19,345 and come with 17-inch alloys, sport grille, rear diffuser and exhaust, rear privacy glass and sports front seats.

Top-of-the-range Excel models cost from £20,345 and come with automatic headlights and wipers, electrically-folding doors mirrors, velour seats with leather bolsters, dual-zone climate control, smart entry and start system, park assist and cruise control with speed limiter.

Both the Auris and the Auris Touring Sports will be built at Toyota's factory in Burnaston in Derbyshire.
