A Vauxhall Astra driven by some of the biggest names in showbiz has been auctioned off for charity.

The Astra, used as BBC Top Gear’s ‘Reasonably Priced Car’, fetched £6,000 when auctioned by Coys, with the proceeds going to motor industry charity BEN.

Olly Murs, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Tom Hiddleston, and Hugh Jackman were some of the stars who were seen behind the wheel of the car in question, which was used on the show during the Jeremy Clarkson era.

Coys boss Chris Routledge called the auction a ‘one-of-a-kind-moment’, while Vauxhall Brand Manager Adam Collins added, “We’re pleased the sale of the BBC Top Gear car has offered a decent injection of funds into the work BEN do for the automotive industry.”
