As if watching a Top Fuel Dragster completing a quarter mile drag race in 4.19 seconds wasn't exciting enough, a slow-motion video of said spectacle has been released.
And it really is quite amazing.
The cameras used to record this incredible footage are so fast, you can actually see the firing order of the engine; and what's more, just LOOK at the state of the tyres as the dragster tries to put its massive torque down on the tarmac!
At around 40 seconds in length, the video of the dragster's launch is around ten times longer than the car's complete run, which isn't surprising when you consider that the dragster reached a maximum speed of 278mph.
