Okay, okay, what follows isn't strictly car-related but bear with us.

A replica of a Rolls-Royce jet engine has been built out of thousands of Lego bricks.

The moving model of the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine was built by professional Lego builders (now THAT sounds like a job) under advice from Rolls-Royce apprentices.

The model has been created to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering.

The engine is 2m long, contains over 150,000 Lego bricks and took four people two months to complete.

The Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 is normally found fitted to the Boeing 787.
