The new Chevrolet Camaro will be priced from £35,320 in the UK for the coupe with manual transmission.
It will go on sale across Europe towards the end of the year, with prices for the convertible with manual transmission starting from £40,320. The redesigned Camaro has seen the most significant changes yet since the introduction of the fifth-generation vehicle as a concept car in 2006.
The model has been given a more contemporary look, featuring a revised exterior that has been designed to be more aerodynamic and allow for more efficient cooling and stability at high speeds, which in turn delivers improved performance.
Amongst the changes the rear end now features a sculptural deck lid, horizontal lamps and a diffuser while the front fascia now has a wider lower grille and a narrower upper grille. It’s equipped with a 6.2 litre engine which produces 432 hp when mated to the 6-speed manual transmission.
There is no shortage of technology, with the Chevrolet MyLink package included as standard which boasts a rear-view camera, a 7-inch touch-screen and a voice recognition system which is designed to help drivers keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the steering wheel. Remote keyless entry also comes as standard, while satellite navigation is available as an optional extra.
