Range Rover have unveiled a new top spec model, the SVAutobiography, that makes its world bow at this week’s Los Angeles International Auto Show.
Priced from £167,850, the new model is hand-finished by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations section, and is powered by an advanced new 404bhp plug-in hybrid electric-petrol powertrain. That provides an EV range of up to 31 miles before switching to the uprated 565bhp V8 supercharged petrol engine.
The long-wheelbase-only SVAutobiography also gets a redesigned cabin with power-closing rear doors, reclining airline-style seats, and unique Zenith timepiece. Rear legroom exceeds 1.2 metres, while a powered 40-degree recling, hot stone massage function, and heated calf and foot rests mean the seats provide unrivalled comfort. Electrically deployable rear tables and integrated 10-inch Touchscreen rear entertainment screens allows rear passanegers to 4G WiFi connectivity to work or relax, while a concealed refrigerator between the twin rear seats can hold two wine bottles or four 600ml bottles. The right-hand rear seat folds down for added luggage space, while there is also the option of a Power Deployable Veneered Loadspace Floor to make loading and unloading luggage even easier.
The exclusive new Zenith clock is located on the rear centre console, inspired by their Elite 6150 watch with knurled bezel complements that also feature on the finish on the start/stop button, gear selector, and pedals.
The Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with twin high-definition touchscreen controls allows information to be swiped from one screen to the other.
