The Geneva Motor Show will have much to offer Porsche fans, as the car firm will unveil three new models there - the Porsche Boxster, the 911 Cabriolet and the Panamera GTS.
Porsche is going to present its new Boxster and Boxster S to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, and the Porsche 911 Cabriolet and Panamera GTS will both have their official European debuts at the show.
New Boxster
Built in Zuffenhausen (Stuttgart, Germany), both the Boxster and Boxster S are powered by flat-six engines with direct petrol injection. Both models also feature a manual six-speed gearbox as standard, with the seven-speed dual-clutch Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) available as an option.
The Boxster delivers 265bhp from a 2.7-litre displacement, which is 10bhp more than its larger capacity predecessor. In addition, The Boxster S has a 3.4-litre engine that delivers 315bhp - 5bhp more than in the previous model.
With the Boxster having a starting price of £37,589 and the Boxster S priced from £45,384, both vehicles will go on sale in the UK from the 5th of May.
New 911 Cabriolet
This model will have its European debut in Geneva. The lightweight design, including the use of magnesium in the hood frame, ensures reduced weight for increased responsiveness, lower fuel consumption and greater comfort. The 911 Coupe is lighter than its predecessor and also includes folding convertible roof for an al fresco ride.
Both 991 models are now on sale in the UK, with prices for the Carrera Cabriolet starting at £79,947 and prices for the Carrera S Cabriolet starting at £89,740.
Panamera GTS
The Panamera GTS is the second model that Porsche will be introducing to the European market. The car can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 179mph. The GTS produces 430bhp and 384lb-ft of torque.
