A picture of the new Porsche Cayman has been leaked, ahead of the car's debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show.

The image, which was printed by a French magazine, shows that the new Cayman will feature a range of styling tweaks. Most notably, the Cayman's LED lights are arranged in a circle, in contrast to the Boxster's strip LEDs.

The new Cayman should be offered with the same range of engines as the Boxster. Expect a 2.7-litre flat-six in the base model and a 3.4-litre flat-six in the Cayman S. Buyers will also have the choice of either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Full details of the new Cayman will be revealed at the LA Motor Show this evening.
