Peugeot has revealed the production version of the new 208 XY, a luxuriously-appointed variant of the firm's new supermini.
Unveiled as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the production 208 XY gets a number of interior and exterior tweaks, including chrome mirror casings, fog lamp trims, window trims and rear skirt. The quarter panel trims and B-pillar are both finished in gloss black and there are subtle touches of purple on the Peugeot logos and wheel caps. The XY also gets 17-inch alloy wheels as standard.
The 208 XY is available in six colours, including purple.
On the inside, the 208 XY gets aluminium pedals; Nappa leather/alcantara seats; chrome detailing on the door trims and vents; and a metallic bronze dashboard.
The Peugeot 208 XY is available with a choice of 1.6-litre petrol or 1.6-litre diesel engines. All of the diesels emit less than 100g/km of CO2, entitling them to free road tax and congestion charge exemption.
