The popular 308 range has been expanded to include a performance GT model available to order now.

The 308 has enjoyed enormous commercial success since its introduction and was crowned European Car of the Year in 2014; it has become renowned for fuel efficiency, low emissions and a versatile cockpit area with the new GT version claiming to maintain such qualities.

Sporting style has been achieved by moving the Peugeot lion symbol from the bonnet to the front grille and by introducing improved headlights using 62 LEDs. 18 inch ‘Diamant’ wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres and twin exhaust pipes complete the racing look.

Performance is enhanced by a reduction in ride height of 7mm at the front and 10mm at the rear alongside a choice of either a petrol or diesel high performance engine. The four-cylinder 1.6-litre Stop&Start petrol engine is linked to a six-speed manual gearbox and can deliver 50.4mpg and emissions of 130g/km.

The four-cylinder 2.0-litre BlueHDi 180 diesel engine also offers a high level of performance with a maximum power of 180hp at 3,750rpm and can achieve efficiency of 70.6mpg.

The Peugeot 308 GT is now available to order with deliveries commencing from March 2015.
