Mercedes-Benz have announced pricing and specification for the new GLA as the model goes on UK sale.

Prices start from £25,880 for the GLA 200 SE, which comes with such features as Keyless-GO starting function, Apple CarPlay, reversing camera and off-road comfort suspension.

Sport and AMG Line trim levels are also available at launch, as is a choice of three petrol power plants and two diesels. GLA 200, GLA 250 4MATIC, Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC petrol engines range in power from 156bhp and 381bhp, with fuel economy and emissions starting from 50.4mpg and 131g/km of CO2 respectively. A brace of 2.1-litre diesel engines, producing either 136bhp or 177bhp, are available in the GLA 200d 4MATIC and GLA 220d 4MATIC, with the entry-level GLA 200 d capable of 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 108g/km.

For £1,695, the Premium package adds Garmin satellite navigation, parking pilot, and LED high performance head lights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, while for £2,995 the Premium Plus package includes the above plus Keyless-Go Comfort package and a panoramic sunroof.

Two special editions are also available. The WhiteArt Edition starts at £31,260 for the GLA 200 model, and is based on the AMG Line trim with the addition of 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a high-sheen finish, black leather upholstery with white and crystal grey stripes, and black floor mats with ‘EDITION’ lettering.

The Premium package is also standard on WhiteArt Edition models. WhiteArt Edition is available for A-Class, CLA and CLA Shooting Brake. Meanwhile, the Yellow Night Edition is priced from £53,135 for the GLA 45 4MATIC, boasting standard features includes AMG aerodynamics package, AMG Night package, 20-inch AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels with yellow-painted rims, bodystyling with painted yellow details, cosmos black metallic paint, Keyless-Go Comfort package, AMG performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and Dinamica microfibre with ‘EDITION’ lettering, and upholstery in Artico leather and Dinamica with yellow highlight stripes.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLA range is available to order now with deliveries expected to commence in April.
