Peugeot have celebrated the launch of the new 108 city car with the release of a new app for smartphones and tablets.

The ‘New 108 in 3D’ app, which is available via the App Store for iOS devices and for Android devices through Google Play, allows users to design and share their own personalised Peugeot 108 in pop-out virtual reality.
Peugeot say the app is the perfect tool to explore the personalisation options for the new 108, which comes in eight colours and three roof colour options as well as a range of dashboard designs, exterior decals, themed kits, and accessories.
In all, the manufacturer claims more than 5,000 personalisation options are available, which can be brought to life by the app.  The free-to-download app offers a 360-degree view both inside and out, and allows you to share you design with family and friends.  I can even be used to download brochures and book a test drive.
The ‘New 108 in 3D' app is the perfect tool to design your perfect car. Featuring more than 5,000 personalisation options to select from, each is brought to life in in playful 3D animation and can be viewed from every exterior and interior angle. Once your New 108 is completed, you can even experience it in pop-out virtual reality.
After the popularity of its predecessor, the Peugeot 107, the French manufacturer is hoping the new Peugeot 108 - with the help of this new app - can eclipse that success.  The car is on sale now with prices starting at £8,245 for the 108 Hatch 1.0-litre Access three-door.
