Jaguar has revealed in detail the rigorous testing process it has carried out on the eagerly anticipated F-PACE performance crossover.
The UK-built F-PACE has been subjected to some of the most challenging conditions the earth has to offer in readiness for it's September launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
It's all-wheel-drive capabilities, Dynamic Stability Control, and All-Surface Progress Control systems have been put through their paces at temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius on Jaguar Land Rover's purpose-built test track in Northern Sweden, while a trip to Dubai - where temperatures in the cabin can reach 70 degrees Celsius - tested the climate control systems and infotainment touchscreen to their limits.
The Jaguar F-PACE'S Vehicle Programme Director, Andrew Whyman, explained: "Just as we paid obsessive attention to detail on the engineering of every single component, we've exhaustively tested the F-PACE in the most challenging conditions to ensure that it will exceed the expectations of our customers around the world."
The Jaguar F-PACE will go on sale next year.
