Fiat are planning an assault on the lucrative pickup market with a new model unveiled at the Dubai International Motor Show.
Called the Fiat Fullback, the all-new pickup will be launched in the UK next autumn in two trim levels, the pricing and specification for which will be confirmed at a later date. The model will come in double cab form making it a practical choice for both commercial and leisure use.
Powered by a 2.4-litre, aluminium turbo-diesel engine producing 150bhp or 180bhp, and equipped with four-wheel drive, the Fiat Fullback will have a payload of 1,045kg. There will also be a choice of two transmissions; a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox with sports mode.
