MG are helping the NHS fight the coronavirus by donating 20,000 PPE face masks.

The Longbridge-based company delivered an initial supply of 10,000 face masks to their local NHS Nightingale Hospital on Monday.  The temporary hospital, housed at the Birmingham NEC, was built in just two weeks with a 500 bed capacity that can be increased to 2,000 beds if necessary.

MG are to follow this up by delivering a further 5,000 to two NHS Trusts in South Wales.

It is not just UK health services who are being supported by MG, with the carmaker donating another 10,000 face masks to hospitals in Dublin and Cork.
