MG Motor UK posted its best-ever April sales figures last month, falling just 20 vehicles shy of the magic 1,000 mark.

A total of 980 new MG’s were sold in the UK last month, an increase of 18% compared to April last year.

Since MG was relaunched eight years ago it has undergone rapid growth.  Its dealer network now numbers 91 locations, with more to follow as the brand continues to increase its presence in the UK.  Current offerings from the Longbridge-based carmaker include the MG3 hatchback, priced from £9,495 on-the-road, and the MG ZS SUV, available from £12,495 on-the-road.

This year has been particularly prosperous for MG, with sales up by more than half so far in 2019 and April’s figures coming after a record first quarter for the brand.
