Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a four-day, 350-supercar convoy which will run from Milan to the firm's Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters.

The supercar convoy is estimated to be almost three miles in length and, in total, develops an astonishing 190,000bhp. The cars which make up the convoy include both new and classic models, from the 350GT -- the first production car ever made by the firm -- right up to the Aventador.

The best-represented car in the convoy is the Gallardo -- the most successful car in Lamborghini's history, with more than 10,000 models finding homes worldwide since the car went into production in 2003.

The convoy leaves Milan today and will head down to Rome, then on to Bologna, arriving at Lambo's  Sant'Agata headquarters on Saturday.

Drivers from 29 different countries will be part of the convoy, the youngest of whom is a 22-year-old from Kuwait, while the oldest is a 75-year-old from France.
