A Ferrari Enzo once owned by 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button could fetch almost £1million when it goes under the hammer this weekend.

Jenson's Enzo is a 2004 model but, despite its age, it has just 800 miles on the clock.

Button bought the Enzo in 2008 -- a year before he signed for McLaren -- and, perhaps wisely, has kept quiet about owning a car from his current F1 team's arch-rivals.

Only 400 Enzos were built between 2002 and 2004, and just 25 made it to UK shores, making it one of the rarest Ferraris ever made.

The Enzo is expected to fetch between £850,000 and £950,000 at auction -- more than double the car's original list price of £418,000 -- but it could sell for more than £1million.

Jenson's Enzo will be sold on Saturday at Coys in Ascot.
