Last month saw Jeep record its best September UK sales figures ever as the brand continues to ride the crest of a wave in this country.

There were 2,097 new Jeeps registered in September, a 175% increase on the same month last year, a figure which sees the brand currently looking at a near 200% hike in sales during 2015.

Leading the way is the new B-segment Jeep Renegade, with just under 1,300 examples sold in the UK last month according to the latest info released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

“The sales figures are fantastic news, not only for new Renegade, but for the Jeep brand as a whole,” said Jeep UK’s Head of Brand Damien Dally.

“It is quite clear that more people are turning to Jeep for their next car, as we bring exciting new models to the UK. We were confident last year that Renegade would help us to grow the Jeep brand, and I’m delighted that’s happened.”
