Jaguar have announced a special edition version of the F-TYPE to mark seven decades of sports car production.
Priced from £62,355 on-the-road, the F-TYPE Chequered Flag Special Edition is being produced to commemorate 70 years since the iconic Jaguar XK120 was first released.
It is based on Jaguar F-TYPE R-Dynamic and is available in Coupé or Convertible body styles, the former with a Black Contrast roof. An Exterior Black Design Pack includes extended side sills, 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with Diamond Turned finish, and red finished brake callipers. An Ebony Windsor Leather interior features contrast Red or Cirrus stitching, slimline Performance seats with optional heated and cooling, and Chequered Flag embossed headrests. The Chequered Flag Special Edition’s centre console comes with a Dark Brushed Aluminium finisher, while aTouch Pro infotainment system offers a suite of connected services including Apple CarPlay and Android auto.
Powering the F-TYPE Chequered Flag Special Edition is either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine or supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol, paired with an eight-speed Quickshift transmission.
