Isuzu has expanded its popular D-Max pick-up range with the announcement of a new premium extended cab version.
Priced from £19,249, the premium Yukon trim is now available on the D-Max extended cab model, which features standard front seats with a fold-down rear bench incorporated into the load area.
The manufacturer says the new model will be ideal for both trade and leisure users who want the refinement and equipment associated with a premier trim level, but don’t want to compromise on the practicality of additional seating and load carrying capabilities.
Isuzu are on a high at the moment, with UK sales up by a quarter on last year and with June recording a spectacular 85 per cent leap in sales compared to the same month in 2013, and the manufacturer has said the new D-Max Yukon extended cab model has emerged as a direct response to feedback from customers and dealers. The new model will be available from October, and comes as standard with cruise control, air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome grille and rear bumper, heavy-duty side steps, six-speaker surround-sound audio system, as well as high-visibility projector headlamps and LED rear light clusters.
The Isuzu D-Max Yukon is powered by a 161bhp, 2.5-itre twin-turbo diesel engine, which has a combined fuel economy of 38.7mpg and is available with six-speed manual transmission. The torquey twin-rail diesel sees the D-Max Yukon certified to tow 3.5-tonnes (braked) or 750kg (unbraked).
The new model benefits from Isuzu’s 5-year/125,000-mile warranty, three years recovery and assistance cover, three-year paint warranty, and six-year anti-corrosion warranty.
“We hope this latest addition to what is already one of the most comprehensive line-ups in the sector will allow us to better meet the varied needs of pick-up users,” said Isuzu UK General Manager William Brown.
