Some weather we had yesterday wasn't it? We had flash floods, thunderstorms and, for some unfortunate motorists, freak hailstorms.
Our thanks go to Tom McCready who sent us in these photographs after hailstones the size of cricket balls wreaked destruction by destroying car windows and denting bodywork in Leicestershire.
The AA received an unusually high number of claims from motorists in Leicestershire yesterday and a number of cars face being written off by the unusual weather.

It wasn't just cars that were damaged in the storm.
