This is no ordinary Ferrari 599.

This is the Ferrari 599 XX Evo, a one-off £1.1million model built for Google executive Benjamin Sloss.

Ferrari donated the special edition 599 to a charity auction to raise money for the victims of the Italian earthquakes in May, and the Google boss put in the highest bid, paying a staggering €1.4million for the car.

And on top of this, Mr Sloss had his new motor presented to him by none other than Messrs Alonso and Massa at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza this weekend.

The 599 XX Evo's V12 engine delivers an impressive 740bhp and is fitted with a Formula One-style DRS rear wing.

Unfortunately for Sloss, the 599 XX Evo is not road-legal and is likely to be kept at the Ferrari factory and brought out three times a year for special 'manufacturer days'.

Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo was also in attendance and described the auction as a "pole position result."

We wonder how long it took him to come up with that one...
