Brand new connective technology will make Jaguar’s latest offering a market leader.

The XE has been attracting attention for its promise of a smooth driving experience with a luxurious and quiet cabin area. Further excitement will build for potential buyers on hearing news of the seamless technology that each car will include.

An eight inch touch screen will form the centre of Jaguar’s infotainment system; the manufacturer promises it will be an intuitive set up with easy to use functions and a voice control system allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road rather than diverting their gaze to the screen.

iOS and Android users will be able to control certain car functions from wherever they are, including locking or unlocking doors and starting the engine. The touch screen will give access to Smartphone apps and Jaguar’s impressive head-up display will be capable of projecting sharp colour images on to the windscreen. The HUD will be an industry first, providing speed and navigation information without distraction.

Dr Mike Bell, Jaguar’s Global Connected Car Director said “In-car technologies in this ever-more connected and fast-paced world are an integral part of your driving experience. With the all-new XE we’re introducing an entire suite of cutting-edge driver aids and entertainment systems. Designed and developed from scratch, they will ensure that every journey you take is simpler, more relaxing, safer, and effortlessly enjoyable.”
