Toyota have added a new trim level, Trend Plus, to their Verso compact MPV range.
With prices starting from £24,650, the Toyota Verso Trend Plus will feature leather upholstery and twin rear-seat DVD system as standard. The DVD system is viewed via a pair of seat-back mounted monitors with wireless headsets, and in addition to its standard inclusion on Trend Plus models the system will now be available as an option Icon, Trend, and Excel models.
The new model will also boast Toyota’s Touch 2 with Go touchscreen-controlled multimedia and SatNav system also found on Trent and Excel trim models. Features of the system include DAB radio, BlueTooth connectivity, online access, and a reversing camera.
As will all other models in the range, the Verso Trend Plus’ engine is Euro 6 emissions compliant. There are three engine and transmission options available on the Verso range, with the 1.6-litre petrol Valvematic and six-speed manual gearbox, a 1.8-litre Valvematic petrol power plant with a Multidrive S CVT automatic box, and the 1.6-litre D-4D diesel, which comes with the six-speed manual.
The Verso Trend Plus will also come with new 17-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, dual-zone air conditioning, rear privacy glass, electric windows, seven airbags, front fog lights, and fold-down seatback tables for second row passengers.
Revisions to the rest of the Verso range include a new Tidal Blue metallic paint finish option, a new seven-spoke 16-inch alloy wheel design for the Icon trim level, and a space saver spare wheel as standard on all models except those fitted with a panoramic roof.
Prices for the revised Toyota Verso range start from £17,770 for the five-seat Active model, while seven-seat models are priced from £18,300.
