The Ford S-MAX and Galaxy models now have enhanced technology and engine options.

Both are now available with Ford’s 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine range, and a new rotary dial-controlled eight-speed automatic transmission. A new 163bhp 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine will follow later in the year. The new power plants give the S-MAX and Galaxy improved performance and fuel economy.
Improved technology options include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop/Go, Blind Spot Information System, and a new ClearView Wiper System for improved visibility.

Both models offer technology features including Adaptive Front Lighting System, Glare-Free Highbeam function, and Active Park Assist with Perpendicular Parking. The Ford SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system can be used to control audio, navigation and climate functions plus connected smartphones using voice commands. With an 8 inch colour touchscreen operated using pinch and swipe gestures, SYNC 3 is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Two new exterior colour options have also been added - Chrome Blue and Diffuse Silver – while S-MAX ST-Line models now feature sporty red brake callipers.

The latest S-MAX and Ford Galaxy ranges are available to order now at Ford retailers.
