Fresh data from market intelligence expert Indicata have revealed that the Ford EcoSport is the UK’s fastest-selling used car.
Their latest report for November revealed that a used EcoSport spends on average just 38 days on the dealer’s forecourt before finding a buyer. The Ford Kuga takes an average of a day longer, while taking an average of 43 days to sell sees the Ford Fiesta also make it into the top ten. The report collected data from over 88,000 used car dealers selling cars between six and 36 months old.
“This report is designed to provide dealers with insight into what consumers are buying helping dealers acquire new stock they know is in high demand,” explained Neil Gilligan, Indicata national business development manager.
Proving that the pre-Christmas period is also boom time for premium models, the Range Rover Sport made it into the top 10 selling within 45 days on average. It was also the highest priced vehicle at an average of £64,015.
