Fiat have streamlined the 500X model range in a move which also sees the addition of new infotainment technology.

Going forward there will be three trim levels – Pop, Pop Star, and Cross Plus – combined with a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines.  The range starts from £15,500 on-the-road for the 500X Pop 1.6-litre E-Torq 110bhp petrol.

From Pop Star trim upwards, the 500X now includes the next-generation Uconnect system with 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. The system offers key features including Bluetooth interface with hands-free system, audio streaming, text message reader and voice recognition, and is now also available with Apple CarPlay iPhone integration. Meanwhile, Android Auto offers access to Google Maps, with voice-guided navigation, real time traffic information and lane guidance, and Google Play Music.

Users who download the free Uconnect LIVE app from the App Store or Google Play Store can use their smartphone to access music streaming with Deezer and TuneIn, news from Reuters, connected navigation with TomTom LIVE, and can stay in touch with friends via Facebook check-in and Twitter.

The latest Fiat 500X range is available to order now at Fiat retailers.
