An exclusive Rolls-Royce Ghost has been winning many admirers at the Geneva Motor Show.
Why has this exclusive Rolls-Royce Ghost been winning so many admirers? It is the first two-tone Ghost, built to complement the two-tone Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The new car comes in Infinity Black, with a Cassiopeia Silver upper two-tone.
"Whether Ghost or Phantom, any Rolls-Royce is a work of art, taking its place in our clients' luxury collections alongside yachts, helicopters and fine jewellery," said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
"So I am delighted that we are now able to offer two-tone options for Ghost as well as for Phantom, features that once again extend the palette upon which a Rolls-Royce masterpiece can be painted."
The Geneva Ghost features an interior design scheme that the company claims "perfectly reflects the two-tone theme." The car is styled with seashell headlining and sumptuous black leather frames, as well as a black stained ash veneer. The final luxury touch is lambswool floor mats.
Interestingly, more than half of customers who chose a Rolls-Royce Ghost in 2011 turned to bespoke personalisation. The service, which can include unique paint colours, coach lines and tread plates, or features such as champagne sets, humidors and picnic cabinets, helped Rolls-Royce to record sales last year.
A massive 56% of Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase models sold around the world last year featured bespoke design.
In January Rolls-Royce announced record sales results. Interest in the Ghost, including the Ghost Extended Wheelbase, accounted for the majority of the 2011 growth.
The company sold 3,538 cars globally during 2011, a 31% increase on the 2010 total of 2,711 cars.
The figure represents the best sales result in the company's 107-year history; the previous record of 3,347 cars was set in 1978.
