Dacia has launched a new ATV (All-Terrain-Vehicle) pack for the Duster which includes a tow bar, a trailer and a quad bike.

Available from next Monday, the ATV Pack comprises a Yamaha Grizzly quad bike, an Ifor Williams P8e trailer with a ramp, and a towbar. Buyers will be able to spec their Duster with the ATV pack for an additional £5,400 over the list price of the standard car.

Dacia claims that the ATV Pack is aimed largely at farmers, but acknowledges that a significant number of customers will buy the pack for leisure purposes. Buyers will also receive a free rider training course and farmers will be able to claim back the VAT on the ATV pack, but not on the car itself.

Buyers can opt for any Yamaha Grizzly quad bike, with the Grizzly 350 expected to be the volume seller. The quad-bike is powered by a 348cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine and has a 2WD/4WD system (depending on specification) and a towing capacity of 500kg.

Dacia believes that the best-selling Duster/Quad combination will be the mid-range Duster Ambiance dCi 110 4x4 with the entry-level Grizzly 350 AWD bike, which will be priced from £21,495. The entry-level combination includes the Duster Access with the smaller-engined Grizzly 125 2WD quad-bike, which is priced at £16,495.
