Dacia continues to be one of the UK’s fastest growing brands according to new figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Almost 21,000 Dacia’s have been sold in the UK up to the end of the third quarter of 2016, up by 2.6% on last year and a figure which means the brand now commands a 1.1% share of the UK car market.

September saw a spectacular growth of 17.7% with 5,245 Dacias sold, dramatically outpacing the UK market.

The Dacia Duster has proved particularly popular this year, with 5,960 examples of the SUV finding UK homes in the first nine months of this year, up by over 20% on 2015.

In total, over 82,000 Dacias have now been sold in the UK since the brand was relaunched here in January 2013.
