Dacia has announced that in 75 days British drivers can pre-order the Duster model for £100, ahead of the vehicle’s UK launch next year.
Those car owners who preorder the model will be given priority delivery of their chosen Duster, from January 2013 onwards.
Full pricing details for the Dacia range will be announced on the June 28th and these recommended retail prices will remain in place on pre-orders until December 2012.
The range will start from less than £10,000 in 4x2, with 4 x 4 versions under a figure of £12,500. This is £6,000-10,000 lower than the price for comparable models.
According to the manufacturer, its new smart-buy concept for car buyers will: “eliminat[e] the cost of the unnecessary in its vehicles, it offers buyers exactly what they need, at incredibly attractive prices.”
Drivers have already expressed interest in the vehicle with thousands already signing up to receive the firm’s newsletter updates, according to Dacia.
Customers can ‘build’ their desired Duster via an online configurator tool before choosing the dealer that will fulfill their order.
The model can carry up to 5 people and has up to 475 litres of boot space (depending on version). With the back seat folded down, the Duster's load capacity climbs to 1,636 litres. Folding the front passenger seat down also means that drivers have 2.65 metres of length in the passenger compartment.
The Duster also boasts high ground clearance, a wide approach and departure angles to add to its off road capability.
Describing the vehicle Dacia adds:

Yet its elegant chrome front grille and double-optic headlamps make it equally at ease around town.
