Citroen has revealed a new, facelifted version of its C3 supermini, ahead of the car's debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The C3 has been given new lights and bumpers at both the front and back, a restyled Citroen chevron logo, LED daytime running lights and the firm's extra-height 'Zenith' windscreen.

On the inside, Citroen has added a new strip across the dashboard -- available in black, grey or brown -- and is also offering a new seat fabric.

In addition to the styling tweaks, the new C3 also comes with two new three-cylinder petrol engines, both of which have already been fitted to the Peugeot 208: a 67bhp 1.0 and an 81bhp 1.2. Citroen claims that these units offer a 15 per cent power increase and a 25 per cent cut in fuel consumption compared to the engines they replace.

Final prices have yet to be confirmed, but expect the new C3 to cost around the same as the outgoing model, with prices starting from just under £11,000.
