The new Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing is now on sale in the UK. Just 100 examples will be made available worldwide and just 10 RHD models will be coming to the UK, each costing £29,305.
Mechanically, the DS3 Cabrio Racing is identical to the standard DS3 Racing, with a 204bhp version of the company's 1.6-litre THP turbo petrol engine. 0-62mph takes just 6.5 seconds and flat out the DS3 Cabrio Racing will hit 145mph.
Like the hatchback, the Cabrio Racing features lowered suspension, wider front and rear tracks, a remapped ECU, a modified sports exhaust and a tweaked turbo system. Beefed-up suspension, remapped steering and uprated brakes are also fitted as standard.
On the outside, the DS3 Cabrio Racing is available in matte grey only with red detailing, including a red vertical stripe down each of the doors. You also get 18-inch alloys and smattering of carbon-fibre.
Inside, the alcantara sports seas get red stitching and headrest inserts, while a numbered plaque situated in front of the gear lever signifies the car's limited edition status.
The DS3 Cabrio Racing is based on the existing top-of-the-range DSport trim, so you get LED daytime-running lights, digital air-con, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth, USB and an MP3 compatible CD player.
