Chevrolet will unveil a host of new model upgrades for the Spark, Aveo, Cruze, Trax and Orlando at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

The first of these upgrades is a new edition of the Spark, named the Bubble edition, which gets a sportier bumper, side rocker mouldings, 15-inch white alloys and white or pink-coloured bubble decals on the front wings.

On the inside, the Bubble gets leatherette seats, Bluetooth connectivity, a CD player, USB and aux-in jacks and a centre console which has been designed to match the car's exterior.

The Chevrolet Cruze gets a range of five new engines, including a naturally aspirated 1.4-litre 100bhp petrol, a turbocharged 1.4-litre 140bhp petrol, a 1.6-litre 124bhp petrol, a 1.8-litre 141bhp petrol and a new 1.7-litre diesel with 110bhp and CO2 emissions of 99g/km.

LTZ models in the Cruze range also get Chevrolet's Side Blind Zone alert and LED indicators integrated into the door mirrors.

Chevrolet has also added a new parking aid which finds suitable parking spaces at low speeds and gives the driver instructions on how to steer the vehicle into them.

The Chevrolet Aveo, meanwhile, gets a new rear-view parking camera as standard, which is linked to a seven-inch touchscreen device.
