Driving/riding lessons and tests will be forbidden for the duration of the latest Government coronavirus lockdown, the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency has confirmed.

This includes both practical and theory tests, with the ban effective from the 5 January until restrictions are lifted.

All driving and riding test candidates who are affected will be emailed directly with a rescheduled test appointment as soon as possible, while those with a theory test booking will need to reschedule it by visiting https://www.gov.uk/change-theory-test.
