The cabriolet is a smart looking car, but impractical in terms of space. The SE trim comes with plenty of kit though. The performance of the diesel is slightly lacking.
PROS: The Bluemotion diesel engine has fantastic levels of efficiency and low CO2 emissions. The SE trim offers lots of equipment too.

The Golf Cabriolet delivers an excellent driving experience and is a lot of fun, with sharp and responsive handling. The ride is a smooth but sporty, and fairly refined for a convertible, although there is a little more noise to be heard in the cabin than in the standard Golf. The car also deals with most potholes and road imperfections fairly well.
The engine can be slightly noisier than the standard Golf and there is a little more body roll.
