It's the classic dilemma. You want a Caterham Seven but can't justify having two cars, and the thought of tackling a rainy December commute in an open-top sports car is just too grim to bear. Well you're in luck, as Caterham has just extended its Hire-A-7 fleet.

With prices starting from £175 a day and discounts for weekend hire, you can now drive a Caterham Seven when the mood suits you.

The Seven is now available for hire from eight locations:

Caterham South, Surrey
Caterham Midlands, Leicester
Open Road Hire, Perth
Mark on Europe, Swindon
Seven Hire, Berekeley, Gloucs.
Roadsport Hire, York
Highlands Caterham Hire, Elgin
Hire 7, County Down, NI

Most cars are Roadsport-spec, which means they come with weather equipment and a heater, which should make long-distance runs more comfortable should the heavens decide to open.

Prices start at £175 for one day with 120 free miles, and £325 for two days with 240 free miles. Further information can be found at caterham.co.uk.
