Nissan have announced the addition of an extra engine option to their recently released all-new X-Trail range.

Already a popular choice on the Nissan Qashqai, the 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol DIG-T 163 engine joins the X-Trail range priced from £21,995, some £1,460 less than the existing entry-level dCi 130 model. Available across all trim levels, the new engine makes Visia and Acenta spec models capable of 45.6mpg and with CO2 emissions of 145g/km. The X-Trail DIG-T 163 will do 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds with a top speed of 124mph. The new engine is available on two-wheel drive models only, with a six-speed manual gearbox and Start/Stop technology as standard. The new Nissan X-Trail DIG-T 163 is available to order now.
