Vauxhall have issued a recall for around 3,000 ADAM, Corsa, and Corsavan models after routine quality control inspections discovered issues with the steering systems.

Vauxhall have announced that around 3,000 vehicles registered since May this year were manufactured with a steering system part which does not meet the manufacturers specification, and although there is no evidence any accident or injury has occurred as a result of the issue the car maker has advised that affected vehicles should not be driven until they have been inspected.

Owners who suspect their vehicle may be one of those affected can check by logging onto www.vauxhall.co.uk and clicking on the ‘Safety Check for ADAM and Corsa’ button for further advice, or by calling the Vauxhall Customer Assistance Centre on 0800 026 0034.
