Burton-on-Trent’s Crescent Motoring Services and Pebley Beach Hyundai of Swindon have been named as the UK’s most trusted garages.

The two have been named best independent garage, and best main dealer respectively, in the Motor Codes Garage of the Year award which recognises exceptional customer service.
The award is for garages which subscribe to the Motor Codes’ Trading Standards-approved Service and Repair charter, and is voted for by customers from across the UK.  Over 8,000 garages were included in the voting for the accolade of Britain’s most trusted service centre, with the two winners emerging victorious in their own regions before being put forward for national recognition.  More than 13,000 customer reviews were considered along with unannounced garage inspections. Chris Mason, managing director of Motor Codes who presented the awards, said: "Both businesses share a commitment to their staff and customers to drive quality, investing in apprentice programmes and partnering with local colleges through community programmes.  This has clearly created an engaged and positive workforce, which shines through when hearing about customer experiences.
"Crescent has clearly embedded itself in the local community, helping young people on the road to a rewarding, long-term career, undertaking impressive charity work and running valuable car care events." "Pebley Beach has shown an ability to make the most of digital initiatives, at the same time as retaining the personal touch.  Customers can take an on-screen walk-through of the dealership and read independently verified online reviews before visiting.  Once there, they can make use of an online hub in the showroom.
