Suzuki has announced the introduction of a series of upgrades to its compact 4x4 Jimny range.

Introduced for 2015 are two new metallic paint colours, Steel Silver and Khaki Green, both of which will be available on the SZ4 model, and as a £399 optional extra on the S3 specification. New seat fabric and fresh 15-inch alloy wheels have also been added to both models.

The Jimny also sees in the new year with the addition of Electronic Stability Control as standard, as well as a Gear Shift Indicator and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System in an instrument cluster which has been revised to meet the latest EU regulations.

Powered by an all-alloy 16-valve 1.3 litre engine, which in manual form returns 39.8mpg and emits 162g/km, the Suzuki Jimny has been in production since 1998, and is priced from £12,195 on the road for the entry-level SZ3 model.
