Suzuki has added two new models to its Celerio city car range.
The Dualjet and Auto Gear Shift models join the range, which went on UK sale in February.
Suzuki’s new Dualjet engine boasts a combined fuel economy figure of 78.4mpg and CO2 emissions of just 84g/km, and is now available in the Celerio priced at £8,499. The twin fuel-injection engine also comes with stop/start technology. Standard equipment on the new Dualjet model, and on all models in the Celerio range, includes six airbags, electronic stability programme, air conditioning, alloy wheels, remote central locking, and a DAB radio with CD player and both USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Meanwhile, the new Auto Gear Shift option has been added to the top-of-the-range SZ4 model, bringing the asking price up to £9,799. Suzuki’s Intelligent Shift Control Actuator automatically operates the clutch and gearshift for effortless city driving, but retains the Celerio’s road tax busting sub-100g/km of CO2 emissions rate. Additional equipment on the SZ4 includes polished alloy wheels, rear electric windows, front fog lamps, body coloured door mirrors, and chrome front grille.
