Subaru have confirmed the UK sales launch date for the new Levorg GT sports tourer.
The Levorg GT made its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, and will be available to order in the UK from September.
Seen as the spiritual successor to the fourth generation Legacy Tourer, produced by Subaru between 2003 and 2008, the Levorg GT has proved to be a hit in the manufacturer’s domestic Japanese market since its release last year. Similar in dimensions to the Legacy Tourer, the Levorg will boast superior interior space.
The model features the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, and will be powered by an all new 170 PS 1.6 litre DIT Boxer petrol engine married to a 6-speed Lineartronic transmission. Safety features include blind spot detection and rear vehicle alert, while the equipment list includes Subaru’s latest factory-fit infotainment system, and bespoke sports seats.
