Skoda are offering up to £4,000 off the price of a new car for customers trading in their older, more polluting diesel.

The deal runs until the end of the year, and is open to customers trading in their current Euro 1-4 diesel-powered car, which Skoda will then have taken off the road and scrapped.  The trade in car can be any make or model, but must be have been registered before 2010 and have been owned by the customer for up to six months.

Under the terms of Skoda’s scrappage incentive, customers trading in an eligible vehicle will save £1,500 off the price of a new Citigo, £2,500 off the price of a new Fabia, £3,000 off the price of a new Rapid, £3,500 off the price of a new Octavia or Yeti, or £4,000 off the price of a new Skoda Superb.

All current Skoda models meet the latest Euro 6 emissions standards.
