The Ssangyong Rexton W range now has a new flagship model with the introduction £27,995 ELX spec.

The Rexton W ELX boasts a number of additional features to those found on the existing EX model, with a new beige/grey leather trim including seats, door trims, and multi-function steering wheel. The ELX also gains matching carpets to compliment the new interior, as well as updated instrumentation. The ELX sits on 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, and has LED daytime running lights, front parking sensors, auto-dipping rear view mirror, heated rear seats, satellite navigation, and a new Dandy blue metallic paint finish option.

The 4x4 Rexton W ELX is capable of towing up to 3 tonnes, with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine under the bonnet which produces over 150bhp. Transmission options come in the form of a 6-speed manual gearbox, or a 5-speed Mercedes-Benz T-Tronic automatic. With a steel ladder chassis and multi-link rear suspension, the Rexton W ELX boasts serious off-road credentials.

The new Rexton W ELX is available to order through Ssangyong’s UK dealership network, and comes as standard with the manufacturer’s 5-year limitless mileage warranty.

Announcing the new model, Ssangyong Motor UK Chief Executive Paul Williams said:  “This new Rexton W ELX adds a number of significant enhancements at very little extra money. This highly competent 4x4 just got even better!”
