Mazda have announced the addition of a limited edition model to the all-new MX-5 range.
Priced from £20,995, the Mazda MX-5 Icon will debut at next week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed before going on UK sale at the beginning of August.
Just 600 examples of the 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-G engined MX-5 Icon will be produced, with the trim level based on the current SE-L Nav specification. The Icon special edition moniker has previously been used three times on past generations of the Mazda MX-5.
Available in Meteor Grey Mica or Crystal White Pearlescent paint, the Icon has bold Soul Red Metallic contrasting finish on the wing mirrors, rear spoiler, side stripe decals and front skirt. Sixteen-inch Gunmetal alloy wheels complete the look, while additional equipment includes black leather seats, rear parking sensors, dusk-sensing lights and rain-sensing wipers.
