Hyundai have officially confirmed pricing and specification details for the new i10 range.

Priced from £9,250 on-the-road, the i10 has seen styling updates which include the new cascading grille which will be a feature of future Hyundai models, and a redesigned front bumper also includes. Premium and Premium SE also gain updated LED daytime running lights. To the rear a new bumper design with black inlay and round fog lights, and refreshed rear lights with a darker housing give the i10 a new look.

New safety features joining the i10 range include Lane Departure Warning System and Forward Collision Warning System, both available as an option on SE, Premium and Premium SE trim models.

Technology changes see all connectivity features integrated into a new seven-inch touchscreen for ease of use, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new i10 Premium SE’s navigation system comes with a seven-year free subscription to LIVE Services, which offers real-time traffic and weather conditions, points of interest as well as the position of speed cameras in countries where this is permitted by law.

Hyundai have modified the steering gear ratio for the new i10, which is designed to provide a more direct feel, while larger front shock absorber bump stops improve both ride comfort and lower suspension noise compared to the outgoing model.

Powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 5-speed manual gearbox, the entry-level S will include new 14-inch steel wheels and covers, rear spoiler with integrated brake light, electric front windows, remote central locking, a new black cloth interior with grey dashboard insert, Electronic Stability Programme, Brake Assist System and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

The SE trim, priced from £10,500, adds body-coloured door handles and mirrors with heating and electrical adjustment, air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth and DAB radio, the option of blue or red interior trim, Lane Departure Warning System and Forward Collision Warning. The i10 SE has two engine options - the 1.0-litre engine with 5-speed manual transmission, or a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox. The i10 SE Blue shares the same equipment features but with Intelligent Stop Go, weight-saving four-seat interior, and 13-inch steel wheels, sees fuel economy boosted up to 70.6 mpg combined.

Premium models, which start from £11,200, now feature privacy glass, climate control, leather steering wheel and gear knob. New connectivity features see the addition of a DAB radio and a smartphone docking station.

Range-topping i10 Premium SE models start from £12,800, building on the Premium trim level with the addition of a 7-inch touchscreen with Navigation and DAB radio, LIVE services, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The new i10 comes in nine exterior colours; Solid colours include Morning Blue and Polar White, metallic options are Aqua Sparkling, Iced Coffee, Sleek Sliver and Star Dust, while pearlescent colours are Mandarin Orange, Passion Red and Phantom Black.
