Volvo’s premium S90 saloon and V90 estate offerings now come with even more power option following the announcement of a new petrol engine.

The 190bhp T4 petrol engine will come as standard with an automatic transmission, returning over 40mpg.  The four-cylinder power plant returns 42.2mpg combined in the S90 saloon, and 40.9mpg in the V90 estate.

Prices start from £34,500 for the T4-powered S90, and from £36,500 for the V90 estate, available from entry-level Momentum to luxurious Inscription Pro trim.  Features include the Sensus nine-inch touch screen control system, satellite navigation with Real Time Traffic Information, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian, cyclist and large animal detection, Pilot Assist semi-autonomous drive technology, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, and leather-faced upholstery. 

The S90 and V90 T4 are available to order now.
