Due to ongoing growth for the Longbridge-based brand, MG are actively planning to expand their UK dealer network.

The move comes in an effort to meet demand for the current MG line up, which at present consists of the medium-sized MG6 fastback and the 1.5-litre petrol-powered MG3 supermini but with plans to add further models in the future. Official sales figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed MG to be the UK’s fastest growing brand last year.

To cope with the surge in MG sales the manufacturer boasted the fastest growing network of dealers in the UK in 2014, and with the momentum showing no sign of slowing down they feel the need for further expansion. Motor dealers interested in becoming franchised can visit http://mg.co.uk/become-a-dealer/ for more information.

"We're looking for more dealers to join us and become part of our growing brand,” said MG Motor UK’s Head of Marketing Matthew Chene.

“Any dealers that join us will benefit from the low start-up and running costs, as well as a close relationship throughout. Often manufacturers can have complicated and demanding start-ups and very strict franchise requirements, but we aim to make the process easy and stress free for those that join us”

"We couldn't be happier that our customers are placing us so highly, and ahead of many luxury and premium rivals. By becoming part of the MG franchise, you are joining a reputable brand that is fully supported and loved by the public."
